Daynote - Fri 25 Oct
The end of another week.
A very gloomy October morning today, somewhat brightened by it being Friday and by the local primary school kids walking past in their Halloween costumes on their way to school.
ON DECK: Zero new words of fiction this morning - I had a thing to review last night that I forgot to do, so I spent my writing time reviewing that. It's an outline for a possible co-writing project, which is very exciting. We'll see if anything comes of that.
LISTENING: Another excellent podcast over on Crimetime FM with I.S. Berry. My copy of THE PEACOCK AND THE SPARROW arrived yesterday and I'm looking forward to it.
WATCHING: More WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS yesterday. Poor Guillermo.
READING: More of DEATH IN THE ARCTIC last night. Just like the giant airship that is the central conceit of the book, it's really taking off.
UP NEXT: More work on Ridealong next week. I'm hopeful I can square it away by the middle of the week, then (subject to Contractual Things) move on to PROJECT SHARD. As ever, plans are subject to change.
